I am NEGLECTFUL and unattentive and generally BAD.
I have moved, to joint blog on 'A Tale of Four Cities', with my three best friends.
I have moved to London, started at University and bought new shoes and nobody knew anything of it.
Well, now you do at least.
Adieu, see you at Four Cities ;)
P.S. For anyone who is interested I have also resurrected my poetry blog.

NOIR
I felt so odd this night, I wore almost entirely black (which is a rarity, if not a phenomenon for me). I did feel oddly 'chic', although there is always something preventing this in my life; in the case the hair bobbles around my wrist and my less-than-good figure. I don't think I will ever be able to look truly 'chic', as hard as I may try. I would say sophisticated but the state I would in would imply otherwise entirely. It is soon my last night out before I move to London, and as I am working on a limited wardrobe I will again be donning the noir from head to toe... this could be a new look for me, but that would involve discarding 80% of my clothes, so maybe thats a none starter, but it may solve the tinywardrobe issue (see previous post.) Sorry, I'm a little drunk in these photos, hence the writing on my arm (of which there are still traces), and the shit photos.

My friends? Amazing.
ONE, TWO, BUCKLE MY SHOE...
Many moons ago, or so it may seem, I posted about a difficult choice I had to make; do I splash the cash on the on-trend black leather booties, or save a little and go for the beautifully 'me' brown buckled boots... no need to tell you I went for the latter option... and I am oh so glad! I love them, they are comofortable, beautiful and fit my personality (and music tastes!) almost perfectly. I'm in love, and have hardly removed them since I handed over the thick wad of cash they cost me.
In other news, I have a house. I did have a glorious, spacious and icredibly decorated top floor master bedroom, but one of my housemates got a sulk on, and for the sake of diplomacy and because I was effectively been bullied into it, I have woefully ended up with a shit box bedroom. No matter; only that it has a single bed, no bookshelf (I am a student of LITERATURE you idiot) and a tiny wardrobe. MAN I am pissed off. At least it saves me some money, which I will duly sped on alcohol and shoes.
As a result of having a house, I have moved all of my belongings into it. This means most of my clothes are in London, leaving me in Yorkshire with naught but a small suitcase full of basics and the odd party outfit... thus I am boringly dressed.
This is what I wore to say a fond farewell to some close friends, and my English teacher, to whom I owe A LOT. Also, there are some detail shots of my boots... I love the gold buckle and the way the layers of leather overlap at the top of the boot.
This is the bracelet mother goose bought me for my 18th. I love it.

JENNIFERCONNELLYFORBALENCIAGA
Jenniffer Connelly is to star in the new Balenciaga campaigns, and I myself, as I'm sure hundreds of you do, have mixed feelings about this. My first qualm with this is that Connelly starred in 'He's Just Not That Into You' not so long ago. And I'm sorry, but that is just not the sort of woman Balenciaga brings to mind. I know that's not her actual persona, but more often than not it is the role she seems to go for. Of course she is beautiful, but she has never struck me as particularly stylish before. I'm just ill at ease with the whole situation.
The images I have found aren't particularly large, but the ads seem to have worked OK... I just feel sorry for models these days, It's been six months since an Elle cover featured one, and Harper's Natalia Vodinova cover last month was the first in a long time. Boycotting Vogue at the moment as I can't afford three magazines a month, I have still noticed a sincere lack of models gracing the glossy covers.

GIVEN THE BOOT
My good old black leather boots have now finally bitten the dust, and have a hole in the sole. This is a sad time for all, but it means one good thing... guilt free shopping! I do have other boots, but not that particular type of boots...
These are other pairs of my old (not broken but not that type) boots.

HOUSEHUNTING
I'm moving to London in under a month, and as the University have denied me accommodation despite my living four hours away, I am currently looking for somewhere to live. This is immensely stressful, and is severely dampening my excitement for living in the hip-and-happening epicentre of the country. Despite this minor marring of my utter contentedness, I am still pretty damned happy at the moment and am really looking forwards to moving in! It always seems that you miss out on things because they're happening in London rather than in Yorkshire. Odd, I know!
I don't particularly have much else to share with you, my brain is still a bit fuzzy from drinking at a festival all weekend and pulling all-nighters, dancing to ballet, losing myself in the Kings of Leon, huddling around a campfire and surviving solely off shreddies. A small pittance to pay for such an incredible time, but still the result is that I'm going to be boring. To relieve you of this epic uninterestingness, I will share some of my favourite images ever.
